Providence Church of Bryan/College Station is a Reformed, confessional congregation of believers who strive to glorify God and enjoy him forever. We held our first public meeting in May 2020 and were recognized as a particular congregation by the Southwest Presbytery in September 2021. As a congregation we hold to the standards of the Westminster Confession of Faith, not as an infallible document, but as an accurate summary of truths revealed in the inspired Scriptures. We also hold to the Westminster Shorter and Larger Catechisms. We are dedicated to the faithful teaching of the whole counsel of God as revealed in His Word, and accomplish this through expositional preaching, understanding Christ as its center, using scripture to interpret scripture, Bible based worship, utilizing Christian education, and living daily lives endeavoring to glorify God.
