Harry Monroe, Jr.
Pastor
Pastor Monroe began his service as Pastor of Providence Church in 2021, and he and his wife Lanette moved to Bryan in May 2022 from Fort Worth, where he had been working in government relations in the health care industry. They have three grown children. Harry graduated from Western Kentucky University with a double major in History and Speech Communications and earned an M.Div. from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. He was a Baptist pastor for seven years before changes in his doctrinal views led him to a confessionally reformed church. After several years of secular employment, he has returned to pastoral ministry and is excited to have the opportunity to share Christ in Brazos County.
In his spare time, Harry enjoys reading and he is a self-described baseball fanatic who has seen games in 28 Major League stadiums.
